Hey Hotties, I’ve been thinking. If you are anything like me, you run out to Starbucks and get a latte here, a snack there. I love my mocha and biscotti as a pick me up in the morning. It’s a pretty costly addiction. I’m spending over $5 per day on something that is gone within 10 minutes (yes I can shovel food in my mouth in 10 minutes).
My point? My point in bringing up our addiction to coffee and snacking is not for you to go on a diet. No, no, no! I want you to do some math. If you and I are spending $5.oo a day on snacking and other frivolous things you are wasting a major $1,825 per year. YES! I don’t know about you, but spending almost $2,000 on coffee is too much money. I think of what else I could have done with that money. What could you do with that money?
So, I started Latte’s or Louboutin’s. I fold up a picture of an item I want and put it in my wallet, so whenever I get the urge to spend money on nonsense stuff, I see my goal and put my money or card back in my wallet. I had a picture of my dream house in my wallet when I was saving to buy my house… and it works, Hotties. It works. You will not stop buying coffee and candy, but you will cut back and find less expensive ways to satisfy your taste buds.
My plan is to stop giving Starbucks my $$$ and put it towards a great pair of Christian Louboutin’s and a hot bag at the end of the year as my reward. Join me in latte’s for Louboutin’s.
